JEE Main 2024 is to be conducted in two sessions for admission in the academic session beginning in 2024. This provides the candidates with the opportunity to improve their scores in case their first attempt is not satisfactory, thus reducing the chances for students to drop a year. If anyone misses the examination due to reasons beyond control (such as the Board examination), then they will not have to wait for one entire year. Candidates need not appear in both sessions. However, if a candidate appears in more than one session then their best of the JEE (Main) - 2024 NTA Scores will be considered for preparation of the Merit List/ Ranking.
The first session of JEE Main 2024 will be conducted from 24 January 2024 to 01 February 2024
