Jockey has a fatal fall

Apprentice jockey Jitendra Singh had a nasty fall which turned out to be fatal one at the Hyderabad races on Sunday. A Hyderabad race club official informed that the apprentice also had a cardiac arrest soon after being unseated from his ride, Gold Label. Jitendra was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead.
     Another jockey, Md Ismail, was also unseated from Whiskery, in the same race. He, however, escaped with minor injuries. It was a bad start to the New Year Day for the riding brigade as yet another jockey, Irvan Singh, fell from Chaitanya, at the Chennai races on January 1. Irvan is also fighting for life.
