Calcutta: Jockey Trevor Patel rode a powerful finish to notch up the verdict in favour of the Bharath Singh-trained charge, Castlebridge, in 1,200m Surfside Handicap, the main attraction here on Tuesday, the opening fixture of the season. It looked like trainer Christopher Alford's hattrick aspirant, Sullivan (Nikhil Naidu-up) pulling it off inside the last furlong but Trevor's course-favourite had the last laugh, on an afternoon when spectators’ entry was barred.
