Bangalore races off

The Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) has pulled down shutters again. BTC’s  summer season had kicked off last Saturday after the government of Karnataka gave the turf club the required clearance. The state government, however, changed mind, and has issued another notification, asking the club authorities not to conduct racing activities till further notice, according to BTC sources.
